Enterprise Account Executive, Payments

As an Enterprise Account Executive (Payments), you are a motivated, high-energy professional with a proven ability to drive the sales process with prospective retailers. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, leveraging your expertise in payment solutions and financial services to help retailers address business challenges and optimize their customer payment experiences. You thrive in collaborative environments, working seamlessly with our marketing, product, and other cross-functional teams to align strategies, refine our product roadmap, and educate partners.

• Develop a deep understanding of the Accrue product and its applications within the payments ecosystem to position yourself as a subject matter expert
• Build strong, consultative relationships with retail partners, understanding their payment-related challenges, such as conversion rates, transaction costs, and customer payment preferences
• Identify pain points and business priorities across payments, checkout experiences, and customer loyalty to map back our offerings effectively
• Meet and exceed both monthly and quarterly goals by managing a large pipeline of leads within various stages of the sales process
• Drive demand generation by uncovering payments challenges and demonstrating how our solution supports improved customer experiences and streamlined payment processes
• Having a deep understanding of the way businesses operate, and the priorities that drive decisions from the C-level

What we'd love to see

• 5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying closing role with a consistent track record of exceeding goals, ideally in payments, fintech, or high-growth startup environment in an AE capacity
• Experience utilizing tools such as HubSpot & other sales engagement tools to track and maintain business leads and future deals
• Ability to develop and deliver tailored presentations to your customers based on the listener at any level of an organization
• Strong communication and collaboration skills working with both internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to build valuable relationships -- “No” doesn’t scare you!
• You are self-motivated, hard working, and a true team player

• The estimated pay range for this role, based in New York City, is $240,000-280,000 (OTE- the listed range is base + commission (uncapped)), $120,000-140,000 (base salary)
• The range listed is just one component of Accrue's total compensation package; This role will receive a competitive salary + sales commission + benefits + equity. The salary range is for US-based employees located in the listed market. Other benefits include those listed above such as healthcare and 401 with 3% contribution.
