Accumulus Synergy is a nonprofit trade association working on behalf of industry to address the global need for digital transformation. To help solve for this need, Accumulus is developing a transformative data exchange platform to enable enhanced collaboration and efficiency between life sciences organizations and National Regulatory Authorities worldwide. The Accumulus Platform aims to improve efficiencies in the regulatory process by leveraging advanced technology, including data science and AI, as well as tools for secure data exchange to improve patient safety, help reduce the cost of innovation, and ultimately bring patients safe and effective medicines faster. Accumulus is working with key stakeholders in the life sciences - regulatory ecosystem to build and sustain a platform that aims to meet regulatory, cybersecurity, and privacy requirements spanning clinical, safety, chemistry and manufacturing, and regulatory exchanges and submissions. Job Description

Accumulus is seeking a Product Manager. Starting day one, you will have the unique opportunity to support the growth of Accumulus through playing a key role in the development and enhancement of our platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and deliver value to our users. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with 2-3 years of product management experience who is eager to take on responsibilities and learn in a fast-paced startup environment. This role requires understanding of or ability to learn to understand complex software solutions, strong leadership skills, and a passion for innovation and driving product excellence. 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, translating customer needs into actionable plans for the development team. Work closely with engineering, design, and other teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer expectations.
  • Assist in the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and market opportunities. Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives. Collaborate with the Product team to provide frequent communication and ensure alignment and transparency throughout the organization. 
  • Partner with UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. Conduct user research, gather feedback, and iterate on product features to continuously ensure what we plan to develop meets user needs, accomplishes the jobs to be done, and aligns with company strategy. 
  • Work within an agile development process, leading sprint planning, backlog grooming, and other agile ceremonies. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of features and updates.
  • Stay informed about regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to our target markets. Ensure that our platform meets all necessary compliance standards and certifications, working closely with legal, regulatory, security and quality teams. 
  • Ensure the successful resolution of product issues identified by field organizations both during development and post-production.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing updates on project status, gathering feedback, and addressing concerns. Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the market and identify areas to drive further digital transformation through unique value propositions that position the Accumulus platform as the leader and driver of innovation. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; written, verbal and formal presentation
  • Willingness to travel once or twice per quarter
  • 1-3 years of experience in the product management function
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience in one of the following: Enterprise SaaS solutions, Life Sciences or other regulated software, project management software or content management software
  • Preferred:
    • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product management tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
    • Technical or hands-on experience
