Vertical Marketing Manager
The Vertical Marketing Manager (or Sr. Manager) drives go-to-market execution for priority industry verticals. This role will partner closely with Sales, Content, Creative Services, and Product teams to develop tailored campaigns, messaging, and enablement content that addresses specific needs within key industries such as logistics, retail, energy, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will bring strong B2B marketing expertise, experience with account-based marketing (ABM), and a passion for creating compelling, industry-specific narratives that drive engagement and pipeline growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop vertical-specific messaging, case studies, webinars, one-pagers, and playbooks.
- Identify and refine ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and key buyer personas to improve targeting and engagement.
- Collaborate with Sales on account-level planning and execution to align marketing efforts with revenue goals.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Content, and Creative Services to ensure marketing content aligns with customer needs.
- Track and report on campaign performance and vertical pipeline contribution with a strong focus on analytics, testing, and optimization.
- Bring strong campaign development, execution, and reporting skills, leveraging data and experimentation to drive continuous improvement.
- Explore and evaluate emerging AI-powered marketing tools and techniques to improve campaign efficiency, content creation, personalization, and team productivity.
- Execute ABM campaigns targeted to key industries (e.g., logistics, retail, energy, manufacturing).
- Coordinate with external marketing vendors and agencies to support execution of ABM and industry campaigns.
- Write clear and compelling creative briefs and strategic planning documents to guide internal and external partners.
- Support industry events, tradeshows, webinars, and other field marketing initiatives with tailored content and outreach.
- Execute multi-channel marketing strategies, including email, digital, content, social media, and paid campaigns.
- Continuously refine targeting strategies and messaging based on industry trends and customer feedback.
- Manage timelines, vendors, and internal approvals for campaign assets and deliverables.
- Ensure brand consistency across all external communications and campaign materials.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on vertical, ABM, or field marketing.
- Proven success developing content and campaigns tailored to specific industries or accounts.
- Curiosity and foundational knowledge of AI tools and trends; ability to explore and experiment with AI platforms for marketing and productivity.
- Familiarity with ABM and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills with a strong storytelling ability.
- Strong project management skills; capable of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Highly collaborative, with experience working across marketing, sales, and product teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience marketing to enterprise accounts across various verticals.
- Understanding of demand generation and sales funnel metrics.
- Proficiency in campaign reporting and ROI analysis.
Pay Transparency: AccuWeather offers a competitive salary commensurate to experience in the range of $70K - $90K.
