Lifecycle Marketing Manager

ABOUT THIS POSITION

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. This role will focus on managing email operations, including reporting, A/B testing, migrations, implementations, and custom event management. The ideal candidate will have expertise in lifecycle marketing automations and a passion for delivering a seamless customer experience through communications that leverage data and automation. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Drive the planning, execution, and optimization of email, push, and SMS marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery through coordination with internal and external stakeholders
  • Use campaign and customer data to analyze performance, surface insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend data-driven campaigns, triggers, and optimizations to the marketing team
  • Design and implement A/B tests to optimize all customer communication content, subject lines, send times, and other variables
  • Monitor test results and use data-driven insights to refine future lifecycle marketing campaigns
  • Drive the migration of marketing automation platforms and ensure seamless transition without impacting campaign delivery and data integrity
  • Implement new marketing automation tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Customer Service, Marketing, and other stakeholders to integrate marketing automation systems with other platforms, meet deadlines, and drive streamlined customer communications
  • Develop and manage custom event triggers and automated workflows to enhance personalization and engagement
  • Monitor and adjust event-based campaigns to ensure they meet business objectives
  • Ensure all email, SMS, push, and in-product messaging campaigns comply with relevant regulations, including CAN-SPAM,TCPA, CPRA, and other data protection laws
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and industry trends for email, sms, and push communications 
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance personalization, optimize campaign performance, and drive scalable customer engagement strategies

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing, marketing operations, or a similar role
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Iterable, HubSpot)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data visualization tools like Power BI or Google Analytics to derive insights and make data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency with A/B testing methodologies, tools, and execution
  • Experience with custom event management and automation triggered by complex customer activity
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Jira or Trello to coordinate marketing campaigns, communicate with stakeholders, and manage timelines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Use AI and emerging marketing tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across content workflows

This position is remote however you must reside in one of the following locations: California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York (excluding Boroughs), North Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Washington. 

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience with PowerBI, Iterable, Twilio, Appcues, or Segment 
  • Experience with marketing of a subscription or education product 
  • Experience in the driving or real estate space

Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000
