Ecommerce Growth Marketing Manager

Remote  |  Full-time  |  Reports to SVP of Marketing

Summary

ACI Learning is looking for an Ecommerce Growth Marketing Manager who knows what it actually means to own revenue. Not pipeline. Not MQLs. Revenue.

This role sits at the center of how we grow our direct-to-consumer eComm business, serving small business owners, IT team leads, individual learners, and office managers investing in cybersecurity and IT skills. There's no sales team to hand off to. You build the funnel, run the campaigns, and move buyers from first touch to purchase. The results land on you, and you're okay with that.

If you've built demand gen programs from scratch, spent real budget on Google and Meta with accountability for what it produced, and worked in an environment where your output-to-headcount ratio mattered, this role will feel familiar in the best way.

A note on revenue ownership

This role is accountable for eComm revenue, not leads, not MQLs, not pipeline. If you can't speak to the dollar value of campaigns you've run and the revenue you've driven, this isn't the right role. That's not a qualifier buried in the fine print. It's the whole job.

What You'll Do

  • Own B2C and B2B SMB eComm revenue. Set targets, build the plan, and hit the number.
  • Design and execute multi-channel demand gen campaigns (paid search, paid social, email, SEO, retargeting) that convert SMB buyers without a sales assist.
  • Run our in-house paid strategy across Google and Meta, with direct ownership of budget, creative direction, targeting, and performance optimization.
  • Build and manage email and lifecycle marketing programs that move SMB prospects from awareness to purchase.
  • Own ACI Learning's presence on G2, Trustpilot, and similar platforms, including review generation, response strategy, and profile optimization.
  • Develop SMB audience segmentation and messaging that speaks to how small business buyers actually think and buy.
  • Design and run A/B tests across landing pages, ad creative, email flows, and CTAs.
  • Use AI and agentic tools to automate workflows, scale content and campaign production, and operate at a pace that outpaces the headcount.
  • Build dashboards that track revenue attribution and translate performance data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.

What You'll Need

Required

  • 4 to 7+ years in growth or demand gen marketing with a B2B SMB eComm focus.
  • Demonstrated revenue ownership. You should be able to point to specific campaigns and specific dollars generated.
  • Experience running multi-channel campaigns end-to-end without a sales team to catch what falls through.
  • Proven track record managing in-house paid campaigns on Google and Meta with direct budget accountability.
  • Strong email and lifecycle marketing experience in HubSpot or a comparable platform.
  • Experience managing G2, Trustpilot, or similar review platforms as an actual conversion lever, not a side responsibility.
  • Comfort with AI tools and agentic workflows as a means of increasing your own output and efficiency.
  • Fluency in GA4, attribution modeling, and building executive-ready dashboards.
  • Ability to operate independently and move fast in a lean, high-accountability team.

Nice to Have

  • Background in edtech, SaaS, or subscription eComm.
  • Familiarity with IT, cybersecurity, or professional certification buyers.
  • SEO or content strategy experience.
  • Exposure to affiliate or partner-driven growth channels.
  • Experience building agentic AI workflows for marketing automation.

What We're Counting On From You

This role carries direct revenue responsibility. These aren't activity metrics. They're the outcomes we'll hold ourselves accountable to, together.

First 60 Days

  • Complete a fast, honest audit of what we have across paid, email, and review platforms — and have campaigns running that you own end to end. Not planned. Not in draft. Running.
  • Form a clear POV on the SMB buyer and be able to articulate it to the room without notes.
  • Ship at least one campaign you can point to with real data behind it.
  • Make it clear to the team that you're not here to ease in.

Longer Term

  • Build a repeatable go-to-market motion for selling to small businesses and individual learners through eComm. Not a one-off campaign that worked once. A playbook we can run again, optimize, and scale.
  • Grow eComm revenue in a way that's attributable — leadership should be able to draw a straight line from what you built to the number.
  • Build an SMB channel that works on its own, independent of enterprise sales or word of mouth.
  • Turn G2 and Trustpilot into actual conversion assets, not afterthoughts.
  • When leadership asks "how do we grow eComm?" — have the answer, the data, and the plan ready to go.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

How do you know if you have a disability?

A disability is a condition that substantially limits one or more of your “major life activities.” If you have or have ever had such a condition, you are a person with a disability. Disabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Alcohol or other substance use disorder (not currently using drugs illegally)
