
Coordinator, Nationwide Membership
ABOUT THE JOB
The ACLU seeks a full-time position of Coordinator, Nationwide Membership in the Development Department of the ACLU’s National Office. This is a hybrid role that has in-office requirements of two (2) days per week or eight (8) days per month.

This position is part of a collective bargaining unit. It is represented by ACLU Staff United (ASU).
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting to the Director, Nationwide Membership, the Coordinator is responsible for department scheduling, travel arrangements, expense report reconciliations, note taking at meetings, and other administrative duties. Keen attention to detail, management of deadlines, and comfort collaborating with diverse teams are essential for success in this role.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Manage meeting calendars for team and inter-department meetings, ensuring key stakeholders from areas are represented and confirmed
- Coordinate large meetings including external partners, working with their administrative teams to secure meeting times and arrange necessary accommodations
- Book conference registration, accommodation, and travel as needed for members of the larger Supporter Marketing team
- Assist with management and submission of personal expense reports for members of the Supporter Marketing and Development Operations teams.
- Post fundraising material updates to central ACLU Hub
- Manage meeting platform links (Zoom, Teams), recordings, and take notes at meetings as requested
- Assist with preparing PowerPoint decks for presentations
- Organize and maintain team assets in OneDrive

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Experience in administrative work, including scheduling and use of Microsoft Office suite of products
- Working experience with Concur or similar expense submission software
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing external vendors and partners
- Understanding of fundraising campaigns (renewals, appeals, reinstatement) and audiences in low and mid dollar fundraising program
- Project management
- Experience overseeing and managing telemarketing campaigns
- Experience with c3 and c4 fundraising
- Experience working at complex national or international nonprofits
