ROLE PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION

 

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our day-to-day fulfillment operations. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance
with safety and company policies, and a high standard of service delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a continuous improvement mindset, and a commitment to team development

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all day-to-day fulfillment center operations, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to safety and company policies.
  • Plan warehouse layout and optimize space utilization for efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness
  • Analyze labor productivity and operational costs to ensure resource planning meets both internal and external service level expectations.
  • Monitor KPIs and team performance, providing timely feedback, coaching, and support to improve outcomes.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives and ensure timely resolution of operational issues, including ticket management and SLA compliance.
  • Implement Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement practices to drive productivity and process enhancements.
  • Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture through clear goal setting, regular reviews, and team development.
  • Ensure full compliance with all safety, security, and Dangerous Goods (DG) regulations as well as internal company policies.
  • Track, document, and report any operational failures or errors, including root cause analysis and preventive measures.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and development of new and existing warehouse staff.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external partners as needed to support warehouse operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field. 10+ years’ direct experience in Manager role in warehouse operations
  • Good in Excel & Good command of English
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
  • Knowledge in Project management & Lean Six Sigma will be added advantage
  • 8+ years management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a warehousing or distribution environment (Preferable B2C) and leadership experience required
