Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Executive with at least 5 years of hands-on accounting and finance experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of managing the full spectrum of finance operations while supporting process improvements and ensuring timely, accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Month-End Close
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform month-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights for management review.
2. Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Management
• Oversee AP and AR processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with internal teams or customers when necessary.
3. General Ledger & Reconciliation
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance for all entries.
4. Inventory Management & Compliance
• Responsible for inventory reconciliation, ensuring accuracy between system records and physical stock.
• Ensure compliance with inventory processes and internal controls, including timely investigation and resolution of discrepancies.
• Work closely with the operations and warehouse teams to strengthen inventory governance and improve process efficiency.
5. Taxation & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax agents during interim and year-end audits.
6. Process Improvement & Internal Controls
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial workflows.
• Strengthen internal controls and promote best practices within the team.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with operations, sales, procurement, and other departments to resolve finance related matters.
• Provide timely financial information and updates to management.
8. Ad-hoc Duties
• Assist with financial analysis and special projects as required by management.
Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance roles; audit experience is preferred
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive team player with good communication skills.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
