AI Transformation Lead

Duties and responsibilities

aCommerce is the region’s leading ecommerce service provider. With over 800 talented staff and operations in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines.

As the AI Trainer, you will champion the adoption, integration, and safe usage of Artificial Intelligence across the organization. The role will be part trainer, part coach in helping non-technical staff employ the standard tools deployed by the company to improve personal and department productivity. This person will be focused on internal productivity across commercial, operations, marketing, product, finance, and support.

Job Responsibilities in a nutshell:

• Develop strategies for the deployment and use of AI within the company using company provided standard tooling

• Development and delivery of training programs to help staff understand the AI tools and apply them into their personal productivity

• Track the use of AI for personal productivity and use it to evangelize to others inside and outside of the company, showing how we use AI effectively along with the growth of adoption

• Work to establish policy and learning for the safe use of AI for citizen developers.

• Establish lightweight processes to evaluate new AI tools coming into the company for suitability of purpose and corporate standards, including security standards.

• Occasionally work with product managers to embed AI features into existing and new products.

Capabilities

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience operating as a corporate trainer or learning systems developer .

• Demonstrated ability to advocate for new technologies and drive organizational change and adoption.

• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively evangelize AI usage internally to staff

• Experience in developing cross-functional training programs and supporting policy

• Experience in researching new technologies and techniques for applying technology is a plus

• Experience in engaging with Senior Management to gain consensus and sponsorship for key initiatives a plus

• As this role is regional in nature, strong command of written and spoken English is required. Good command of the Thai language is important

Technical & Industry Knowledge

• Good understanding of current AI tools, generative AI technologies, agent systems, and emerging ecosystem trends.

• Knowledge of data privacy, security standards, and ethical considerations surrounding corporate AI deployment.

• Ability to establish evaluation frameworks and lightweight governance processes for new technology adoption.

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle to effectively collaborate with developers and technical product managers is a plus
