Sales Internship (Full Time) - Houston, TX

A&C Plastics is seeking a full-time Sales Intern for our fast-paced office during either the Fall, Spring, or Summer semester.

A&C Plastics is a values-based plastic distributor that has been in business for over 45 years. We are looking to give success-driven college students an insight into the world of plastics, and a career in distribution sales. Are you personable? A good communicator? A problem solver? If these traits sound like you, our Spring Sales Internship would be a great fit.

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

COMPENSATION: $20.00 per hour; non-exempt

WHAT YOUR SEMESTER WILL LOOK LIKE:

• Shadowing our sales team

• Research new and inactive accounts

• Gain product knowledge

• Solution-based selling (You will actually get to sell plastic!)

• Regular mentoring from senior representatives and sales managers

• Ad hoc projects as needed for the sales team

SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (must currently be classified as a Junior or Senior undergraduate student)

• Bilingual English/Spanish a PLUS, but not required

• Self-motivated team player

• Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills

• Outgoing personality and ability to grow and maintain relationships

•  Must be available to work Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm during either the Fall, Spring, or Summer semester
