Career Exploration at Acquia

Our recruitment process is designed to empower you in making the most informed decisions. Acquia is committed to providing an inclusive, transparent, efficient, and educational interview experience that cultivates exploration into career opportunities at Acquia

You will discover the opportunity to grow your career here and learn from a global team that empowers you to exceed boundaries and achieve the extraordinary.

The Opportunity

Acquia is looking for a high-energy, transformative Global Director of Sales Enablement to architect the future of our revenue performance. This is not a "behind-the-scenes" administrative role; we need a Player-Coach—a master facilitator who can step onto the stage and model "great" while simultaneously designing the global systems that scale it.

As we pivot toward a sophisticated multi-product sales motion, you will be the bridge between product innovation and field execution, ensuring every seller is equipped to communicate the value of the Acquia Open Digital Experience Platform (DXP).

Key Responsibilities

1. Enablement Strategy & Global Execution

  • The Blueprint: Design and own the global enablement roadmap, encompassing new hire onboarding, "evergreen" continuous learning, and specialized sales leadership development.
  • The Facilitator: Lead from the front by personally facilitating high-impact training sessions, bootcamps, and workshops. You don’t just buy training; you deliver it.
  • Methodology Mastery: Act as the global champion for Value Selling. You will ensure this methodology isn't just a document, but the heartbeat of how we qualify, nurture, and close deals.
  • Multi-Product Evolution: Partner with Product Marketing to enable the field on Acquia’s expanding portfolio, transforming a single-point sale mindset into a strategic, multi-product solution motion.

2. Operational Excellence & Accountability

  • Rigorous Inspection: Drive a culture of accountability. You will implement systems to inspect the adoption of training and measure its direct impact on sales velocity and win rates.
  • Certification & Readiness: Manage a robust sales certification program. From "Pitch Perfection" to technical fluency, you ensure our sellers are certified and ready for the field.
  • Content Optimization: Audit and streamline our sales asset repository. Ensure that every whitepaper, deck, and battlecard is mapped to the buyer’s journey and easily discoverable.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Define and track KPIs (Time to Productivity, Ramp Time, Win Rate vs. Competitors) to prove the ROI of enablement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years in Sales Enablement or Sales Leadership, with 3+ years managing global teams.
  • The "SaaS Edge": Direct experience in mid-market to enterprise SaaS/PaaS sales. You have personally carried a bag and closed $100k+ deals; you understand the "pain" and "gain" of the modern seller.
  • Speed & Scale: Experience in high-growth environments. Ideally, you’ve navigated the transition from a specialized start-up environment to a scaling global organization.
  • Methodology Expert: Deep, demonstrable expertise in Value Selling (or similar frameworks like MEDDIC/Force Management).

Skills & Competencies

  • Executive Presence: Ability to command a room (virtual or physical) and influence C-Suite stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Proven success in leading large-scale behavioral changes across a global workforce.

The "Bias for Action": You operate with a sense of urgency. You prefer a "Version 1" that is live over a "Version 10" that is still being discussed.

We are an organization that embraces innovation and the potential of AI to enhance our processes and improve our work. We are always looking for individuals who are open to learning new technologies and collaborating with AI tools to achieve our goals.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunities to qualified people with disabilities. To measure this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

How do you know if you have a disability?
