Support Adversary Aircraft Engine Sustainment and Readiness!
Description: We are seeking an experienced Program/Project Management Analyst to support PMA-226 engine acquisition, maintenance, sustainment, and readiness activities at Cherry Point, North Carolina. The selected candidate will provide programmatic and analytical support for engine requirements associated with F-5, F-16, and T-38 aircraft programs.
Working with Government Team Leads, CORs, engineering and logistics personnel, fleet stakeholders, and industry partners, the selected candidate will analyze engine program requirements, budgets, schedules, contract documentation, readiness information, and sustainment data.
This position is well suited for a professional with aviation maintenance or engine sustainment experience who can translate technical and readiness information into accurate program-management products and actions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze engine program requirements, status, budgets, schedules, and program/project objectives.
- Perform management, technical, and business-case analyses related to engine acquisition and sustainment activities.
- Collect, organize, interpret, and report data relating to engine acquisition, maintenance, readiness, and associated programs.
- Track program/project status, schedules, milestones, action items, and contract documentation.
- Apply Government processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.
- Coordinate meetings and working sessions with Government Team Leads, CORs, customers, and contractor stakeholders.
- Track, analyze, and manage the progress of contract documents using online management tools.
- Assist with analysis, approval, and routing of products supporting F-5, F-16, and T-38 engine program activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, engineering, logistics, aviation, finance, or related discipline.
- 3-10 years of professional experience performing program/project management, aviation maintenance, logistics, sustainment, readiness, or equivalent duties.
- Experience analyzing technical, schedule, cost, readiness, or maintenance information to support program execution.
- Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration / reporting tools.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active Secret security clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with DoD engine maintenance, sustainment, and/or readiness programs.
- Experience with aviation support equipment and maintenance data systems.
- Experience supporting F-5, F-16, T-38, or other Navy / Marine Corps aircraft programs.
- Familiarity with aircraft readiness reporting, Contractor Logistics Support, DECKPLATE, AMSRR, or similar maintenance/readiness data.
- Prior military aviation maintenance or NAVAIR experience.
