Recruiting Coordinator (Part-Time, Contract)

Acumen is seeking a Recruiting coordinator with 2 years of experience to support full-cycle hiring across global teams and coordinate a high-volume candidate pipeline. You’ll drive interview scheduling, candidate communications, and recruiting operations projects while ensuring a seamless, positive experience for both candidates and hiring teams. This is a one month part time contract role based in New York with an anticipated 15-20 hours of work per week.

In this role, you will partner with them to support a period of high-volume hiring across the organization this year.

About the role
The Recruiting Coordinator will support a high-volume recruiting function that is managing 35+ open roles concurrently and a pipeline of 200+ candidates. The ideal candidate has prior experience managing high-volume interview scheduling and candidate communications in a fast-paced environment and brings a high level of ownership,and proactive problem-solving to support both candidates and our hiring teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interview logistics for 35+ concurrent searches, supporting a pipeline of 200+ candidates across timezones, including proctively adapting to last-minute changes and rescheduling.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for candidates as they move through our hiring process. 
  • Maintain consistent, professional candidate communications and engagement throughout the hiring process.
  • Communicate interview details, preparation materials, and updates to candidate
  • Manage ATS workflows (Greenhouse), including interview plans, scorecards, and candidate updates.
  • Support exeution of offer letters and preboarding logistics 
  • Drive recruiting operations projects, including evaluating and implementing tools (e.g., Calendly) to optimize scheduling and workflow efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications 

  • Minimum 2 years of recruiting coordination experience, including high-volume interview scheduling and candidate communications.
  • Must have prior experience using Greenhouse
  • Prior experience with global interview coordination preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools like Calendly or AI-enabled scheduling solutions is preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; committed to delivering a positive candidate experience.
  • Able to work autonomously 
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment with a strong bias for action.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: active listening, solution-oriented thinking, and professional handling of confidential information

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
