AcuTech Consulting Group is growing rapidly and seeking highly qualified and motivated Mechanical & Asset Integrity Engineers in the United States to help fuel our growth. Candidates would join a highly respected team of industry leading PSM experts on challenging projects for many of the world’s largest corporations.

Your ability to work cross-functionally means assignments may include all aspects of Process Safety: PSM/MI program development, integrity/reliability engineering, auditing, damage mechanism review (DMR), risk-based inspection (RBI), and fitness-for-service (FFS).
What You’ll Do:
As part of AcuTech’s US PSM team, you will work directly with clients on projects spanning all aspects of process safety and risk management. Successful candidates will proactively apply engineering and problem-solving skills to meet challenging safety and business objectives while seeking out leadership and growth opportunities. Candidates must have high technical acumen, be self-motivated, independent, organized, able to work effectively under direction of senior engineers, and handle multiple work assignments and projects.
Mechanical integrity projects will include MI program development and implementation, MI program audits/assessments, damage mechanism review (DMR) facilitation, and risk-based inspection (RBI) program implementation.
What’s Required:
- Minimum 5-10+ years’ experience; self-motivated, independent, organized, able work effectively under direction of senior engineers, handle multiple work assignments and projects and seek professional growth and development.
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in related engineering field (mechanical, chemical, corrosion, metallurgy) or associated science degree.
- Experience in performing mechanical integrity gap analyses, developing, and implementing mechanical integrity programs for fixed equipment, rotating equipment, and instrumentation & controls.
- In-depth experience with interpretation of ASME and API codes and standards including ASME Section VIII Div 1, ASME B31.3, API 510, API 570, and API 653.
- Experience in Risk Based Inspection (RBI), and facilitation of damage mechanism reviews/assessments.
- Ability to develop consulting business, including developing proposals and making presentations
- Self-motivated, independent, strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and client service.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills and a consultative approach in supporting customer projects
What’s Preferred
- Experience in coordinating and managing asset integrity programs, and or API inspection turnaround plans.
- Experience in mechanical integrity auditing as part of the audit team, or as part of the facility representative team.
- Experience in developing, writing, and implementing mechanical integrity policies and procedures.
- Candidates holding one or more of the following certifications: API 510, API 570, API 653, API 580, or API 571.
- Ideal candidates will be “Seller Doers” with existing client connections and an ability to generate new business.
