Data Annotation Specialist - Machine Learning
As a Data Annotation Specialist on our Machine Learning team, you will be responsible for building the datasets that power the data science solutions that are integrated into Ada’s product. You will work closely with ML Scientists to understand the purpose and nuances of the models we build that help us deliver impactful experiences for millions of customers.
We’re looking for someone who is curious to learn about, and motivated to be a part of building a world class AI Agent CX platform. You will be expected to demonstrate a high degree of initiative and an ability to collaborate with teammates to achieve shared goals. Along with a core expectation of delivering annotated data, you will be given the opportunity to help us hone our data annotation processes in order to meet the needs of a growing Machine Learning team.
About You
- Motivated to complete tasks with a high degree of attention to detail and efficiency
- French native speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency and proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with programs such as Excel, GSheets
- Highly organized
Outcomes
- Collect, validate and prepare Data to support model training and other ML/AI development processes
- Consistently deliver high quality annotated data
- Become an owner of Ada’s data annotation processes and help to scale them
- Refine the annotation tasks and guidelines based on the experience acquired through the inspection of large amounts of data
- Create clear and concise documentation to document progress and processes

The expected salary range for this position is $84,625 to $102,268 CAD. Actual pay will be determined based on several factors, such as past experience and qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
