Digital Events Specialist
As a Digital Events Specialist, you will be an integral part of the marketing team responsible for leading event initiatives online. From engaging webinars with industry-leading speakers to hosting fireside chats with the developer community, this role is best suited for someone who ambitiously wants to create unique digital events that lead to tangible results. We are looking for someone who is organized, thrives in fast-paced startup environments, is highly resourceful and a self-starter.
About You

- You possess an entrepreneurial spirit, extremely detail-oriented with a desire for constant improvement.
- 3+ years of event planning experience; in-person and virtual events. With experience sourcing venues, managing vendors, and reporting on results.
- A people person with strong relationship management, cross-group collaboration, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to bring people and processes together, bring projects from unknown to clarity, update priorities and pivot accordingly.
- Strong organizational and planning skills as well as the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
- Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate events
- Ability to travel as needed across the North American region, and flexibility to travel internationally if required
- You dig in and figure out how to work around problems, you anticipate requirements and manage expectations
Outcomes
- Lead Projects: Build and execute strategy to support events; virtual events and supporting in-person.
- Digital Marketing: Understand how to promote the event and brand leading up to the event, and maximizing its reach post-event. Drive Performance: Ensure every experience directly supports achieving objectives such as driving pipeline with quality prospects.
- Oversee Calendars & Budgets: Create and manage an event calendar based on key audiences, topics, and potential return on investment.
- Manage Relationships: Lead stakeholder relationships with third-party conferences/vendors, managing the marketing and speaking requirements, sponsorship initiatives, on-site collateral, and budgets
- Operations: Able to build and maintain operational processes designed for a regular cadence of events. Improve the efficiency of event execution, collect and document insights for future events.

The expected salary range for this position is $77,000 to $95,000. Actual pay will be determined based on several factors such as past experience and qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
