Senior Director of Enterprise Sales - Patient Finding (Pharma and Medtech)
Location: Remote US (preference for candidates located in the New York, New Jersey or Philadelphia areas, but we are open for the right person).
About us
At Ada, we envision a world where everyone gets the healthcare they need. Yet, millions remain undiagnosed and untreated due to the complexity of identifying rare and underrecognized conditions, even when effective treatments exist.
We’re changing that. Powered by leading AI and built by a team of physicians and clinical scientists, Ada helps people get answers faster, identifying those at risk and guiding them to the right care. Every successful journey makes us smarter and able to help more people.
If you’re passionate about transforming healthcare and ensuring no one goes undiagnosed, join us and be part of what’s next.
About the role
Millions of people remain undiagnosed and under-treated for their health conditions, even when effective therapies exist. Our Commercial team is on a mission to work with pharma in finding undiagnosed and under-treated patients and navigating them to appropriate treatment and care.
We have created a new position for a Senior Director of Enterprise Sales, focused on Patient Finding (Pharma and Medtech). Reporting into our CCO, you’ll be a key driver of opportunities through the entire market development cycle, from partnership identification to closure and growth.
What you’ll do (this is a sales job)
- New bookings quota for our Patient Finder solution within Pharma; consistently outperforming plan, owning a revenue target and managing revenue forecasts.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing net new partnerships with life sciences companies focused on accelerating time to treatment.
- Run a MEDDPICC (or similar) driven motion; build metrics with the client, secure EB access, run the paper process and forecast accurately.
- Closely monitor the industry landscape (people, competitors, partners, etc.) to contribute to product roadmap and other corporate strategies.
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, developing and executing strategies for a comprehensive account plan.
- Support your customer accounts from initial engagement to successful deployment and through to renewal.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers in the life sciences industry.
- Represent Ada at industry conferences, building awareness of Ada's AI-powered platform to achieve ubiquitous adoption within the life sciences industry.
What you’ll bring
Our commercial team aims for:
- Urgency and impact: We move fast, make decisions quickly, and prioritize progress over perfection, because real change can’t wait.
- High ownership, low ego: No job is too big or small. We value team members who take initiative, roll up their sleeves, and focus on results.
- Adaptability and flexibility: Top talent comes in different forms. Whether you're driving ambitious projects with long hours or making a focused impact within a structured schedule, what matters is the results you deliver.
- Passion and deep curiosity: We love artificial intelligence and its benefits across healthcare. You embrace the opportunity to help deploy our technology in a way that benefits humanity by accelerating time to treatment. You’re excited to educate our customers on AI and how to plan for the future.
We are looking for:
- Proven track record: 7 years+ enterprise new logo sales (not partnerships or marketing), with at least 3 years selling into Pharma commercial teams with a steady over quota performance.
- Industry knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Pharma commercial analytics, patient identification, and healthcare media/marketing strategy, with a deep understanding of how life sciences companies leverage real-world data, AI, and digital media to identify undiagnosed patients, engage them, and drive treatment adoption.
- US DTC experience with strong connections in Pharma Marketing teams (Brand Leads, Omnichannel, Digital) vs. Agency connections.
- Executive presence: you can earn 30 minutes with a BU leader and land next steps.
- Sales acumen: Proof of closing deals of $1m+ TCV in pharma organizations (or equivalent Phase 1 to scale structures) with executive sponsors. Also, a working MEDDIC/MEDDICIP practice and examples of forecast control you personally ran.
- Team player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively while demonstrating ownership as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Low Ego: Proficient in rolling up sleeves with a belief that no job is too big or too small.
