Senior Clinic Leadership (Regional Administrator)

Position Summary

Praxis Health is seeking a senior level leader who is part of a team that provides clinical and business operations pathways for multiple clinics in the Eugene, Salem and other surrounding regional markets.  This leadership position will be responsible for entire Southern Willamette Valley region and its profit and loss performance, team engagement, transition to a value-based care model, and creating an exceptional patient experience.

The ideal candidate is operations-oriented and brings at least two years of experience working in a primary care environment, along with a proven track record of physician partnership and healthcare system leadership (preferably across multiple markets), and is objective, directive-driven, and prepared to optimize system models that support the success of Praxis Health’s South Willamette Valley Region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities, including the following:

  • Design region specific objectives and relevant initiatives that support the corporate strategy and strengthen processes and operations.
  • Demonstrate expertise while serving as an open-minded leader with an entrepreneurial mentality.
  • Provides oversight of regional clinic employees, directly manages directors/supervisors who are responsible for day-to-day operations, including performance management and talent acquisition of physicians and advanced practice providers.
  • Develop system models to support clinic and regional operations
  • Inspire out of the box thinking by the team who will create opportunities and continuous improvement.
  • Attract and recruit medical providers and support ancillary services in an employment, partnership, or management model.
  • Interpret available data to make informed decisions as it relates to predictive analytics, AI models, and operational dashboards.
  • In accordance with the CEO, develop and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Manage a budget that ensures profitability and focuses on cost containment strategies.
  • Represent the organization with local and state agencies that may impact our ability to be successful.
  • Monitor’s local, state, and national health care environment for threats or opportunities and implement adaptive strategies.
  • Other duties may be assigned as the needs of the team and organization evolve.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience working within a Primary Care clinical environment, with a solid understanding of Primary Care operations, workflows, and patient care delivery models, and direct involvement with clinic performance, quality improvement, and team engagement in outpatient care.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Health Administration, or commensurate experience.
  • 5+ Years’ experience managing employees in a clinic setting or preferred equivalent.
  • Live in the Southern Willamette Valley region of Oregon or within a commutable distance

It is our company policy to provide, free of charge, the Hepatitis Vaccine Series for all employees of the company who may be exposed to blood or body fluids.
1.    Employees will be counseled upon hire regarding the vaccination series.
2.    Upon the signing of the proper form, the employee will begin their series at the next scheduled vaccination day after hiring.
3.    The series will be administered by a nurse at a designated clinic or hospital.
4.    Documentation will be kept in the employee's permanent Personnel File.
5.    When necessary, the Medical Director will determine follow up protocol.
Eligibility for Hepatitis Vaccine will be decided by the employee's supervisor based on their possible exposure to blood or body fluids during job performance, such as (but not limited to): Phlebotomy, Sample handling, Testing, Courier of Specimens, Direct patient contact/care, Janitorial Services.
