What You’ll Do
- Support general accounting functions, including managing the general ledger, preparing journal entries, completing month-end closing tasks, and reconciling various accounts
- Review and validate accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate coding of vendor invoices in the AP management system
- Perform cash applications for accounts payable transactions
- Review and reconcile T&E expenses, ensuring compliance with policies
- Assist in Purchase Order (PO) mapping for AP transactions
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of accruals and prepaid expenses
- Manage the Fixed Asset process, including asset creation and depreciation
- Provide support for payroll operations
- Assist with year-end financial statement audits and internal control documentation
- Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
- Experience on Accounting , Accounts payable and Travel and expense experience in a global setup is mandatory.
- 3+ years of Core Accounting & Accounts Payable experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillAbility to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably NetSuite and Coupa, along with advanced Excel skills.
