The Role
We’re expanding our Global Finance Operations team in India and building a shared deal governance model that blends financial approvals, deal quality control, and smooth order-to-invoice execution.
This role combines Finance Deal Desk responsibilities (pricing, ARR validation, non-standard deal support) with Order Management responsibilities (contract review, billing readiness, and handoff accuracy).
You’ll be the operational link between Sales, RevOps, Legal, Accounting, and Billing — ensuring deals are structured correctly, approved efficiently, and processed without errors.
This is an ideal role for someone who is hands-on with fundamentals yet capable of stepping into more complex scenarios as the function grows.
Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country where this role is based on the first day of employment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
What You’ll Do
- Deal Desk Responsibilities
- Review and validate ARR, pricing, and deal structures in Salesforce CPQ
- Ensure accuracy of multi-year, ramped, tiered, or usage-based pricing
- Support senior teammates in reviewing non-standard deal constructs (discounting exceptions, blended rates, complex T&Cs, multi-entity deals)
- Collaborate with RevOps and Sales Ops to improve quote accuracy and approval compliance
- Partner with Legal on commercial terms that impact billing, invoicing, or financial exposure
- Evaluate multi-currency pricing using approved FX frameworks
- Support credit checks, threshold-based approvals, and finance policy compliance
- Order Management Responsibilities
- Review contracts and orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies
- Ensure all required documents (quotes, contracts, MSAs, addendums) meet billing and invoicing requirements
- Validate billing schedules, start dates, terms, and product configurations prior to order activation
- Work closely with the Billing and Accounting teams to prevent setup errors or downstream revenue issues
- Manage deal-to-invoice readiness, ensuring seamless handoff from CPQ to ERP
- Assist in resolving issues related to customer accounts, PO requirements, tax implications, or entity selection
- Maintain clean order hygiene across systems, including proactive updates or corrections
- Cross-Functional & Operational
- Act as a point of contact for Sales on policy questions, deal setup guidance, or required documentation
- Analyze recurring deal/order issues and recommend process improvements
- Support internal audits or compliance reviews related to contracts, approvals, and billing readiness
- Help build scalable workflows as the global deal volume and complexity grow
Who You Are
- minimum 4+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Finance Operations, or Order Management within a SaaS or subscription environment
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite (or similar quote-to-cash/ERP platforms)
- Solid understanding of ARR concepts; familiarity with revenue principles is a plus
- Ability to independently manage standard deal reviews while supporting complex or non-standard scenarios
- Comfort reviewing billing schedules, contract terms, and operational details with high accuracy
- Strong cross-functional communication and the ability to influence Sales, Legal, RevOps, and Accounting partners
- Analytical mindset, financial judgment, and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a global, fast-paced, cross-time-zone environment
- Growth mindset — comfortable taking on broader responsibilities as the team scales; experience supporting or guiding junior teammates is a plus
- [Plus] Experience with multi-currency or international deal structures
- [Plus] Exposure to pricing governance or GTM approval workflows
- [Plus] Experience in global finance operations or multinational environments
Important Note: This role requires working from our Pune office 3 days a week (Hybrid work model)
