The Role

The Calculation Infrastructure team is at the core of scaling Addepar's computational architecture. The team plays a pivotal role in building distributed services and driving innovations to meet Addepar’s rapid growth. Working on a blend of cutting-edge technologies and mission critical systems, the team thrives on solving complex challenges to deliver high-impact solutions internally and externally. Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York. The current range for this role is $160,000 - $250,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.

Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additionally, these ranges reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment.

What You’ll Do

  • Shape and execute an ambitious program of product features, technical debt eliminations, and scalability advancements.
  • Coach and mentor a high-performing team of software engineers. 
  • Own end-to-end solutions while continuously improving engineering processes and velocity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver measurable impact across R&D. 

Who You Are

  • Minimum 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years leading software engineering teams, preferably in a platform engineering context
  • Experience or interest in financial technology
  • A great communicator adept at working with cross-functional partners
  • You value developing people and coaching engineers to succeed.
  • Experienced with managing software projects throughout the SDLC, improving team agile processes, estimation and project planning
