The Role

We are seeking an Early Career Product Manager to join the AI product management team. Our team owns some of Addepar's flagship AI products, including Addison, agentic workflows, and the Addepar MCP. Our mission is to accelerate front- and back-office work for the investment industry.

As an Early Career Product Manager, you'll get hands-on experience across the full product lifecycle, working alongside senior PMs in a high growth, fast moving environment - leveraging the latest and greatest in conversational AI, agents, and emerging standards like MCP to build transformative new products that deliver value to clients. This role will require working closely with engineering, design, product, marketing, go-to-market to drive new AI products to success.

This is a fast-paced, cross-functional role for a hands-on operator who wants to get real AI products into clients' hands, making an impact at the intersection of AI, customer-centric product development, and financial technology.

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the end-to-end development of new AI features: help scope requirements, write specs, partner with engineering, design, and GTM to get them built and launched
  • Dig into how clients actually use our AI products today, surface what's working and what isn't, and turn those insights into clear, actionable product recommendations
  • Own well-defined pieces of the roadmap under the mentorship of senior PMs, with increasing autonomy
  • Get hands-on with the AI tools and techniques the team uses daily, including prompting, evaluating agent behavior, and understanding what makes an AI feature actually work in practice
  • Define product analytics focused on usage patterns, adoption, feature performance
  • Help the team stay organized and move fast: support operations, maintain product documentation, and triage incoming feedback and bugs
  • Work directly with cross-functional partners in engineering, design, marketing, and go-to-market to keep execution tight and stakeholders aligned

Who You Are

  • 0–2 years of professional experience; strong internship, research, or project experience in a fast-paced, analytical environment is a plus
  • Genuinely excited about AI and how it's changing what products can do. You use AI tools yourself, you keep up with what's new, and you have opinions about where this is all headed
  • Sharp analytical instincts. You're comfortable breaking down ambiguous problems, working with data, and reasoning your way to a recommendation
  • A bias for ownership. You don't wait to be told exactly what to do — you ask good questions, make a plan, and move
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. You can explain a technical idea clearly to both an engineer and a client
  • Comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders, whether that's a client or an executive
  • Low ego, high accountability. You're as comfortable digging into the details as you are stepping back to see the bigger picture
  • Drawn to fast-paced, high-growth environments where the problems are still being defined and the stakes are real
  • Curiosity about financial services and fintech is a plus, but not required
  • Experience speaking or working directly with clients is a plus, but not required
  • Engineering/ CS background is a plus, but not required
