Position Summary
The Vice President (VP) Program Lead for Oblenio Bio will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for leading overall project management of LBL-051, with a particular focus on advancing the program through early stage (Phase I/II) development. The Program Lead will lead cross-functionally across internal and external stakeholders (functional teams, vendors and partners) to strategically and efficiently drive progress toward development milestones.
Position Responsibilities
- Program Planning and Management: Work with Oblenio Bio company leaders and team members to create and manage development plan(s) and financial plans, both quarterly and long-term. Understand and plan for interdependencies of program activities and expenses to help Oblenio remain on timeline and budget in a highly-competitive field. Work across key stakeholders to maintain detailed timelines and budgets, anticipating activities, resource needs and recommending approaches to fill them. Closely track progress, proactively identify risks and potential mitigations, and work with CMO, CEO and functional leadership to plan for success.
- Partner Collaborations and Vendor Management: Productively manage and facilitate relationships with partner Leads Biolabs while ensuring that the interests of Oblenio Bio and Aditum Bio are prioritized. Work collaboratively with functional leaders and the CROs they manage to plan future activities, execute effectively and track progress.
- Cross Stakeholder Communications: Lead the communication of key program inputs and updates to a variety of internal and partners stakeholders. Ensure clear, complete communication across the team, recommending additional interactions and strategic planning sessions, as appropriate.
- Support and coordinate any business development activities: Work with Oblenio Bio and Aditum Bio leadership and business development team to support any activities related to future investment/syndication (e.g. suggested updates to presentations, data room contents and coordinating effective answers to questions from external parties in diligence)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a life sciences discipline or related field; advanced scientific degree preferred
- Leadership experience in drug development project management, including budget management and long-term financial planning, is required.Prior experience in a functional area of drug development a plus.
- Experience working in small teams, within fast-paced, early-stage biotech companies
- Expertise in leveraging technology (Microsoft Suite including Excel, project management software, procurement platforms, etc.) to enable high-quality and efficient development programs
- Strong track record in effectively communicating at all of levels of an organization, including working with senior management and reporting to board members
- Proven ability to work collaboratively internally and externally, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Results oriented and self-assured. Ability to push timetables while keeping the team motivated
The range for this full-time position is $290,000 - $320,000, plus a target bonus, equity compensation and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The range displayed on our postings reflects the minimum and maximum for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by interview performance, job-related skills, experience and relevant education and training. Please note the range reflects base salary and does not include target bonus, equity or benefits.
