The Role

As the Senior Director or Director, Publisher Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and maintaining relationships with our publisher partners. Your objective will be to optimize existing partnerships, drive revenue growth, and foster productive collaboration. You will also be instrumental in identifying new opportunities and avenues for expansion within our existing partner network.

This is a management position overseeing 2–5 individuals within the Publisher Growth vertical at adMarketplace. Final leveling (Director or Senior Director) will be determined based on experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the day-to-day relationships with our publisher partners, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Drive revenue growth across both new and existing publishers, leveraging insights and strategies to optimize performance.
  • Build and expand partnerships with AI-driven publishers and search publishers, staying ahead of industry shifts and innovation.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to establish and cultivate relationships with new top-tier publishers.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for publishers, addressing their queries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Play an active role in strategic account planning, contributing to the growth and development of our key publisher partnerships.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of each publisher's business goals, metrics, and product objectives.
  • Coordinate closely with our demand-side teams to deliver optimal supply-side solutions and views to their advertiser clients.
  • Identify areas for product innovation by pinpointing pain points in service delivery and proposing solutions.
  • Manage and coach team members to develop talent, foster career growth, and support partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years of account management or other client-facing experience.
  • Experience working with search publishers, AI publishers, or partners leveraging AI-driven content and monetization strategies.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, revenue projections, and opportunity assessment.
  • 1–3 years of management experience.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
  • Strong consultative sales skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of Media Math and basic advertising metrics.
  • Familiarity with the competitive digital and adtech landscape.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft Office.

*Compensation Range: $160,000 - $180,000 + Commission

*This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of adMarketplace in the New York office. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
