What You’ll Do:

• Providing technical guidance on new and emerging accounting and reporting issues.
• Leading/assisting business in implementing new requirements.
• Support external auditors on annual financial audits and quarterly financial reviews
• Research and analyze non-routine and complex technical accounting issues, prepare accounting memos documenting accounting positions taken, and assist in the creation of ‘audit-ready’ workpapers supporting the related journal entries
• Maintaining accurate supporting analysis and documentation across various complex accounting areas including equity and stock-based compensation, internally developed software, revenue recognition, leases, and foreign currency transactions
• Ensuring that adMarketplace’s accounting policies are being followed in accordance with US GAAP. Review each technical accounting area on a continuous basis to verify such compliance is continuous.
• Lead the implementation of new US GAAP accounting standards, including working with various cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. 
• 5+ Years of Experience, ideally with experience at a Big 4 (or large national) public accounting firm 
• Active CPA license or currently pursuing licensure  
• Technical Accounting experience including research and memo writing and the preparation of accounting policies 
• Experience with US  GAAP and knowledge of key accounting concepts such as revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), R&D, consolidation and stock-based compensation (ASC 718)
• Strong analytical skills; including proven ability to independently analyze transactions and contracts and document the related accounting analysis under GAAP
• Willingness and desire to teach and develop accounting staff
• Highly motivated. Possesses time management skills and is comfortable in situations where work is fast paced

*Compensation Range: $120,000 - $160,000 + Bonus

Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
