Position Summary:
The Senior Executive Assistant serves as a strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer, operating with exceptional judgment, strong corporate governance knowledge, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. This role supports the CEO in managing complex priorities, driving high-impact initiatives, coordinating Board of Directors activities, and strengthening communication across the executive leadership team. The Senior Executive Assistant manages sensitive information with absolute discretion, ensures operational excellence, and helps enable the organization’s mission by maximizing the CEO’s effectiveness.

The posted range represents the full hiring range. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications.
Job Duties & Functions:
- Manage and optimize the CEO’s complex calendar, prioritizing meetings and anticipating scheduling needs
- Coordinate, track, and support execution of cross-departmental strategic projects and initiatives
- Serve as the strategic intake and prioritization lead for the CEO, filtering information and requests to enable focus on high-value priorities
- Anticipate CEO and executive team needs and proactively remove obstacles to progress
- Facilitate communication and alignment across the executive leadership team
- Coordinate all Board of Directors meetings, including agenda development, materials preparation, and follow-up action tracking
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance practices, bylaws, and regulatory requirements
- Manage, maintain, and safeguard official board records, minutes, resolutions, and corporate documentation
- Act as the primary point of contact for board members regarding logistics, information requests, and meeting follow-ups
- Draft, edit, and prepare internal and external communications, presentations, and reports in partnership with the communications team
- Coordinate and manage CEO travel arrangements and expense reporting
- Plan, coordinate, and execute company events, offsites, and key leadership meetings with a high level of detail and accuracy
- Manage confidential information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism
- Support cross-organizational initiatives by preparing briefings, summaries, and decision-ready materials for the CEO
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field), or equivalent professional experience
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience directly supporting C-suite or senior executives
- Demonstrated experience coordinating Board of Directors meetings, including agenda preparation, materials, minute-taking, and follow-up tracking
- Experience maintaining corporate governance records, bylaws, or other formal governance documentation
- Proven ability to manage confidential or sensitive executive-level information
- Experience preparing executive-level presentations, reports, or formal communications
- Experience coordinating travel and managing executive expense reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams)
- Experience with board management software (e.g., Diligent, BoardEffect) or project management tools (e.g., Asana) preferred
Work Location: This is a hybrid opportunity open to folks residing in the Greater Denver Metro area and will require the majority of days per week on-site with some time working remotely.
Shift/Hours: This is a Monday through Friday, 8-5 PM role. May require occasional evening or weekend hours.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, bend, and reach; operate standard office equipment including phone, computer, copier, printer, and scanner. Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds. Primarily office-based work. May require occasional evening or weekend hours.
