Job Title: Analytics Internship

Compensation: $22/Hr

Location: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin

Internship Schedule: Tuesday, July 22nd - Friday, August 29th

This is a full-time, paid 6-week internship designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience. While we're confident you'll thrive, your performance will be evaluated at the program's conclusion. Should a Platform Specialist, Analytics role be available, successful interns will be considered for continued employment and growth within our team. Please note: applicants must have current work authorization in the U.S. that does not require future visa sponsorship.

Adswerve is seeking an aspiring Analytics Intern to join our intensive Analytics Training Program. We're looking for critical thinkers inspired by digital analytics, with a natural inclination for analytical problem-solving and strong client-facing communication skills. The ideal candidate will be genuinely curious about technology, businesses, and the web, with a proven track record of experimenting with web or app technology, including programming or related problem-solving.

During the 6-week program, you'll undergo extensive onboarding and training, gradually taking on tasks such as:

  • Google Analytics and/or Google Tag Manager implementation
  • Auditing clients' current digital marketing strategies
  • Performing Quality Assurance (QA) on tasks
  • Setting up tags and tracking
  • Providing Shopify support to our Platform Specialist Teams
  • Shadowing client calls and project work
  • Completing a final project

Key Results

The role works closely with our Platform Specialist teams to learn the fundamentals of web technology, Google Analytics, and best practices for using data. At the end of your internship you will be an integral part of designing and implementing Google Analytics on world-class websites.

  • Learn the Google Analytics data model
  • Learn tag management using Google Tag Manager 
  • Implement Google Analytics powered by Google Tag Manager on one website
  • Analyze data produced by your implementation to produce a report containing insights and recommendations for improving website performance
  • Managing marketing pixels on common shopping platforms

Desired Experience

  • A keen interest in digital analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to think critically about complex systems to derive relevant insights
  • Strong desire to become a proficient digital analyst for a fast-paced company
  • Google Analytics IQ Certified
  • Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or another language is a plus

This position pays $22/Hr. Wage differential is based on training and experience.
