Senior Account Executive - Advertising Sales

ASI currently has a hybrid work model. This position requires in person attendance at our office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
In this role, you will sell ASI advertising and marketing services and ASI Show events and services to a pre-determined base of supplier clients. This includes, but is not limited to, advertising in our ESP and ESP Websites programs, e-newsletters, email marketing service, ad placements on our various websites, research tools and other media, and exhibit space, suites, and sponsorships at ASI Show events.
The Sr. Account Executive will report to the VP, Supplier Sales and will join our supplier sales department and manage a $2.5 million territory.
The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000, plus commission.
Position responsibilities include:
- Driving sales while meeting and exceeding all daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals.
- Aggressively and regularly informing clients of ASI and ASI Show products and services.
- Upselling clients on a regular basis, including explosive gains to identified accounts.
- Managing client campaigns to maximize growth and uncover opportunities.
- Analyzing data and reporting to ensure successful campaign results.
- Building trusted client relationships with all clients in base.
- Navigating company organizational chart to penetrate beyond the decision maker.
- Identifying and visiting your top active and opportunity accounts once per year.
- Attending a minimum of two ASI Show expo events per year.
- Contributing to cross-training team members, including team training sessions and/or new hire onboarding.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years business-to-business, advertising/ media sales experience required.
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to articulate the value of advertising products to business decision makers.
- MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic knowledge of Internet.
- Experience with sales databases, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Open to travel requirement of 25%.
