Senior Account Executive - Digital Advertising Sales

ASI currently has a hybrid work model. Our employees come to the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We are open to remote work, if employees have a one hour or more commute from our Trevose, PA (Bucks County) office.

In this role, you will sell ASI digital advertising and marketing services and ASI Show events and sponsorships to an established base of clients. This includes, but is not limited to, advertising in our SaaS and e-commerce platforms, e-newsletters, email marketing service, ad placements on our various websites, research tools and other media, and exhibit space, suites, and sponsorships at ASI Show events.

The Sr. Account Executive will report to the VP, Supplier Sales and will join our supplier sales department and manage a $2.5 to $3 million territory.

On target annual earnings for the first year is $225K to $300K. Commission is not capped. Potential for additional annual earnings.  

Position responsibilities include:

  • Managing and growing existing client accounts, while proactively prospecting new business.
  • Building trusted client relationships and navigating company organizational charts to penetrate beyond the decision maker.
  • Creating and delivering data driven presentations and proposals tailored to client goals.
  • Analyzing campaign performance data and market trends to devise sales strategies, maximize growth and uncover new opportunities.
  • Aggressively and regularly informing clients of ASI and ASI Show products and services and upselling on a regular basis, including explosive gains to identified accounts.
  • Identifying and visiting top active and growth opportunity accounts once per year and attending a minimum of two ASI events per year (up to 25% travel required).
  • Staying informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging platforms and contributing to team cross training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree helpful.
  • 7+ years business-to-business, advertising/ media sales experience required.
  • Currently managing a multi-million dollar account base.
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to articulate the value of advertising products to business decision makers.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights
  • MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic knowledge of Internet.
  • Experience with sales databases, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • A minimum of 25% travel required.
