Sr. Product Designer

As a Sr. Designer at ASI, you will be responsible for leading the design of complex features and products while mentoring junior product designers. You'll work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences that align with business goals and user needs. You will help to evolve our systems and practices as we continue to grow and advocate UX throughout the organization.
The pay range for this position is $130,000 -$140,000.
Who you are:
- You are a generalist who can jump into all types of problem-solving including interaction design, product strategy, design system management, and visual details.
- You regularly zoom out to understand how your design decisions affect the entire product and business. You think in terms of systems and not individual screens or components.

- You approach each problem thinking about all use cases, and edge cases, and always seek to understand other perspectives, whether it’s our users, our team, or our stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams and drive the design process.
- Articulate, negotiate, and refine design requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers to arrive at the best design solutions.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes and design specifications.
- Present design solutions to stakeholders and defend design decisions.
- Conduct and analyze user research to inform design decisions.
- Help the team think more critically, and strategically, and make constant improvements to the design.
- Deliver high-quality, polished, delightful, and easy-to-use designs.
- Contribute to the design system and establish design patterns.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant product design experience in complex B2B experiences.
- Practical experience in shipping real products that solve real problems for real people.
- Experience performing all functions of the product design lifecycle, including research, product strategy, wireframes, prototypes, high-quality UI delivery, documentation, and user testing.
- Demonstrative examples of product work in a portfolio.
- Ability to articulate and unfold your design decisions with an iterative mentality and embrace feedback with a growth mindset.
- Clear writing and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of business and product metrics.
- Experience building and/or maintaining a scalable design system.
- BS or BA degree (or equivalent experience) in Digital Product Design or similar field.
