About the Role
Intake Specialists are a key extension of our Marketing department. This team is responsible for conducting thorough phone conversations with new potential client leads generated by a variety of marketing channels. The goal of these calls is to understand the potential client’s needs, answer questions and overcome any objections a caller may have about hiring a lawyer, resulting in signing qualified customers on as clients of the firm. This role offers intake specialists a front seat to building a successful personal injury law firm.
Responsibilities:
- Interview potential clients by phone to determine if they are a qualified personal injury lead, obtaining information and evidence to help support the case
- Follow up with a pipeline of inbound leads by phone, text, and email
- Secure new client cases by obtaining electronic document signatures
- Keep meticulous notes and track data in the firm’s lead and case management software systems
- Communicate closely with other teams in the firm before, during and after onboarding new cases
- Identify issues and quickly resolve discrepancies by addressing potential client concerns
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of sales or phone-intensive customer service experience (required)
- 1-3 years law firm or professional services experience (preferred)
- Associate's degree or higher (preferred)
- Motivated team player who isn't afraid to ask questions
- Driven to pursue a high volume of outbound follow up contact
- Can balance multiple tasks and cases without skipping a beat
- Enjoy getting to the bottom of issues and finding creative solutions
- Strong ability to lead compassionate and direct conversations with callers who may have a difficult time explaining their situation
- Enjoy helping and interacting with a variety of customers
Compensation
- $25.00 - $28.00/hr
