Payments Solution

As Java Software Engineer you will build and improve integrations at a global scale for in-store and online payments. We make sure that our merchants and partners have a seamless integration with the Adyen platform.

Recurring & Tokenization

As a Java Software Engineer you will build and improve integrations at a global scale for in-store and online payments. We make sure that our merchants and partners have a seamless integration with the Adyen platform.

The Recurring and Tokenization team focuses on supporting merchants to frictionlessly accept recurring payments. The team builds and maintains features to allow merchants safely store and keep up to date shopper's payment instruments (such as card number of bank account) to be used in recurring payments (such as subscriptions and one-click checkout). 

Who you are:

• You have experience with Core Java, web services, REST APIs and SQL/PostgreSQL;
• You enjoy working on automation and improvement of internal processes with cross-functional teams
• You are able to define, implement and monitor performance KPIs to quickly identify opportunities for improvement in existing systems
• You like to challenge the status quo and ask the ‘why’ question
• You think about how businesses would consume and benefit from your changes
• You enjoy to work together with Product Designers and Frontend Engineers
• You have a sharp eye for detail, like to work precisely yet pragmatic
• You know how to get things done while reaching out and involving other people to hear different perspectives
• Good to have experience using Gradle, CockroachDB
