Adyen's Payments Pricing team manages the billions in annual costs associated with payments charged to our customers. The team operates like a product team, focused on ensuring pricing is accurate, efficient, and transparent.
Product Manager - Payments Pricing
As a Product Manager on this team, you'll own the strategy and roadmap for a key part of our payments pricing domain. This means you'll be instrumental in shaping how we define payment products and how they appear on customer bills. You're responsible for driving and delivering scalable, high-impact solutions, collaborating deeply with customers to revolutionize our invoicing and reporting processes for payment products. In this role, you'll guide a dedicated team focused on cost challenges, while also aligning with many cross-functional teams across Adyen to bring truly innovative, customer-centric solutions to market.
What you’ll do:
- Define and drive the product strategy for a key area of payments pricing, with a focus on how products and costs are defined and presented on customers invoices and reporting
- Work closely together with our customers to determine the right level of detail and structure, and ensuring clear traceability for Adyen.
- Partner with engineers to shape architecture, product requirements, prioritize initiatives, and lead product development
- Act as key point of contact between customers and Adyen’s internal teams to ensure alignment across departments for seamless product delivery
- You will actively work together with our finance, product and cross-functional teams to improve our reconciliation processes and data insights
- Drive improvements in cost structures by owning complex topics and acting as the go-to expert for areas like foreign exchange rate optimization
Who you are:
- You have 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong track record of delivering high-impact products in global, cross-functional environments
- You have domain knowledge in finance, accounting, payments, fintech or related fields with knowledge of acquiring and/or payment networks (eg., Visa, Mastercard)
- You think strategically and enjoy untangling technical complexity while linking it to broader business outcomes, balancing short-term priorities with long-term product vision
- You have strong technical acumen and are skilled at collaborating with engineers
- You communicate clearly and confidently, whether you're aligning stakeholders, advocating for user needs, or making tough prioritization calls.
- You have the ability to breakdown topics in understandable pieces and can articulate technical concepts clearly to a diverse audience
