Team Lead - Office Infrastructure

Adyen's Business Enablement Function is seeking a Team Lead for the Office Infrastructure team, someone passionate about enabling a productive and seamless work environment across our global offices. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of our office infrastructure worldwide.

As a Team Lead, you will combine your technical expertise with strong leadership skills to guide projects, mentor team members, and ensure the efficient functioning of our offices. Your work will directly impact the employee experience at Adyen, making this a crucial role in our growing organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Set clear individual and team goals that align with the strategic ambitions of the Business Enablement team.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams at Adyen to coordinate project delivery and improve employee experience.
  • Take responsibility for the overall operation and improvement of Office Infrastructure across 30+ offices worldwide, ensuring consistent standards and great end user experience. 
  • Drive the technical direction of the team, fostering best practices, innovation, and professional development.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery, proactively addressing any potential roadblocks.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with crucial vendors, ensuring effective partnerships, service delivery, and cost management.
  • Supervise and guide team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring balanced workloads and maximizing team productivity.
  • Promote and implement automation initiatives within the team to improve efficiency and service reliability.
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of new office deployments, ensuring timely and efficient setups.
  • Ensure the team provides effective support and resolution for IT challenges, minimizing disruption to colleagues' work.
  • Drive the ongoing improvement of Adyen’s internal IT systems related to office infrastructure.

Who you are:

  • You have the ability to lead technical projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in coaching, leading, and mentoring engineering talent.
  • You are a team player who excels at working with a global team across different offices, roles, and cultures.
  • You have a strong understanding of the technologies relevant to office infrastructure, including:
    • Meeting room equipment (Logitech, Zoom)
    • Event Spaces / All-hands areas / Training rooms (Q-Sys, Extron, BiAmp, Shure)
    • Access Control and CCTV systems
    • Networking: WiFi, switching, routing (Unifi, Juniper)
  • You are a flexible team player who can make informed decisions.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • You are willing and able to travel for work a few times a year.
