FP&A Manager
This is Adyen
Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.
For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.
We are looking for an FP&A Manager who is passionate about turning long-range ambition into focused growth drivers. Sitting at the centre of Group Finance, you will use market insight, financial modelling and business partnering to answer one core question: “Where should we focus on today to maximise sustainable growth tomorrow?”
What you will do
- Shape Adyen’s long-term growth plan by owning the financial outlook. You’ll translate market research, competitor benchmarks, and internal data into clear strategic scenarios across products, regions, and capabilities.
- Build strategic cases for new markets, infrastructure, or product opportunities. You’ll partner with Product, Commercial, Pricing, and Strategic Finance to challenge assumptions and create clear, data-backed recommendations.
- Bridge the long-term strategy with short-term execution. You’ll ensure strategic priorities are reflected in our rolling forecast and OKR cycles, working closely with the FP&A team to keep forecasts aligned with business goals.
- Bring clarity through storytelling. You’ll translate complex analysis into clear choices for leadership, backed by simple dashboards showing progress, returns, and how each initiative contributes to our broader vision.
Who you are
- You bring 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, Strategy Consulting, or Finance Business Partner, with a proven track record in long-term planning, capital allocation, or strategic decision-making.
- You’re not just a strong modeller; you connect macro trends to business impact, and turn data into clear financial narratives that inform action.
- You’re a problem solver at heart. When you spot a challenge, you don’t wait. You identify the right people, bring them together, and create momentum to move things forward.
- You know how to challenge assumptions, ask the right questions, and simplify complex topics into sharp, practical recommendations.
- Experience with tools like Pigment or Looker is a plus, but what matters more is your ability to push for innovation and alignment in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
