Data Analyst - Regulatory Reporting 

Adyen’s Regulatory Reporting Tech team is seeking a Data Analyst to join us in Amsterdam. You will help in further automating and scaling our global regulatory reporting framework to keep Adyen compliant across all markets. 

Together with the team, you will implement key technical solutions to streamline our regulatory reporting operations. If you have a strong analytical background and love solving complex problems, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do

• Take Ownership of High-Impact Projects: You will have the autonomy to own our most complex data initiatives from start to finish. Your role is to set the direction and lead these critical initiatives independently from the initial idea to the final implementation
• Drive Regulatory Data Governance execution: Move beyond analysis to actively shape how the organization manages, controls, and leverages regulatory data. Use your deep understanding of reporting requirements, data lineage, and governance frameworks to challenge assumptions, strengthen compliance, and uncover opportunities that enhance data integrity, transparency, and strategic decision-making
• Translate Data into a Compelling Vision: You will be the storyteller behind the data. Your role is to communicate a clear technical vision and strategy that convinces and aligns both technical and business leaders, using your work to create a central source of truth that empowers the entire organization.
• Setting the Standard: Your challenge is to find simple and scalable solutions to complex problems, inspiring other teams with new ways of working. You will establish the best practices that become the standard for how we use data across the company.

Who you are

• You have 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related role
• You are proficient in SQL, Python, and BI tools (e.g., Looker), with familiarity in big data tools being a strong advantage.
• You have an affinity for Regulatory, AML or Risk data,  as well as operational processes, and you're interested in learning more about it.
• Pyspark experience is nice to have.
• As an expert executor, you excel at breaking down complex problems, prioritizing effectively, and aligning your work with strategic goals.
• As a strong collaborator and communicator, you can manage diverse stakeholders and translate complex insights for technical and non-technical audiences in a global team.
• You bring a curious and experimental mindset and you can drive business projects in a structured manner and you are not afraid to ‘build as you go’.
