Team Lead of Regulatory Reporting

The Team Lead of Regulatory Reporting is leading a team of professionals responsible for all regulatory reporting at Adyen. In this position you will manage a diverse team across the domains of prudential and statistical regulatory reporting.

The Team Lead of Regulatory Reporting will ensure compliance with relevant regulations and the preparation of transparent and accurate reports in a constantly evolving landscape. The Team Lead of Regulatory Reporting will report directly to the Global Head of Reporting. The team is largely based in Amsterdam (with one person currently outside of EMEA). You will be involved in discussions with external regulatory bodies globally, and with various internal stakeholders such as our CFO, CRCO, Treasury, Risk and Compliance and our Product and Engineering teams. What you'll do

  • Lead and further develop a team of regulatory reporting professionals across the domains of prudential and statistical reporting;
  • Set a vision and strategy for a world-class Regulatory Reporting team;
  • Coordinate the activities of the Regulatory Reporting team to facilitate the preparation of prudential and statistical reports in agreement with timelines determined by different regulators globally;
  • Be involved in the onboarding of new requirements due Adyen’s global expansion strategy;
  • Always be looking for opportunities to further improve, simplify and automate existing reporting processes;
  • Foster an inspiring team environment, with an open communication and feedback culture;
  • Strengthen the connection between the business and Regulatory Reporting team, supporting Adyen’s global strategy;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as second line teams, regulators, treasury, product and engineering teams. 

Who you are

  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in regulatory reporting in the EU (e.g. FINREP, COREP, AnaCredit, PAY-taxonomy), with at least 2 years in a leadership role;
  • Expertise in regulatory reporting frameworks, particularly in banks, payment services, or FinTech;
  • Familiarity with financial regulatory reporting requirements within the EU, including Basel III/IV, CRR, and CRD;
  • Strong people leadership skills to build and lead high-performance teams in an international setup; it is expected that you will coach and develop others in the team, and you are decisive when needed;
  • A high degree of self-motivation, ambition, and hands-on, with an entrepreneurial mindset; a good team player with the ability to engage with people and deliver within tight deadlines and in a fast-paced, international environment;
  • You are innovative, with strong problem-solving capabilities and able to define robust processes and procedures.
