Head of Payment Product - EMEA

We are looking for a product leader to shape the future of Payment Methods in EMEA. As Head of Payment Product for EMEA, you will own the strategy, vision, and execution for Adyen’s core payments products in one of our most dynamic and high-growth regions. You’ll be responsible for defining what great looks like for Payment Methods in the region, aligning teams behind that vision, and delivering measurable impact to our customers and the business. You will build and develop a team of high-performing Product Managers, raise the bar for product thinking, and take full ownership of the regional product portfolio. You are accountable for simplifying the product landscape, driving performance and adoption, and delivering real value to customers. You think long term, move fast, and keep the customer at the center.

 

What you'll do

  • Own and drive the multi-year vision, strategy, and execution for acquiring, local payment methods, and platform enablers in EMEA. Focus on customer needs, regional requirements, and global scalability to deliver differentiated products.
  • Translate strategy into execution by defining clear outcomes, setting priorities, and ensuring the team delivers measurable value to customers and the business.
  • Build and develop a team of high-performing product managers, raising the bar on product craft, ownership, and accountability. Foster a culture of clarity, customer obsession, and results.
  • Continuously improve the product landscape by removing complexity, driving adoption, and ensuring products are performant, reliable, and easy to use.
  • Partner with Commercial, Engineering, Partnerships, and Compliance to launch new products, improve performance, and solve hard problems at scale.

 

Who you are

  • 10+ years of experience as a product manager, including building and scaling products across multiple markets
  • 5+ years of managing and growing high-performing product management teams
  • Experience driving product strategy and execution for complex, global products
  • Strong track record of shipping both new products and scaling existing portfolios through continuous improvements
  • Customer-centric and data-driven, with decisions anchored in measurable business and user impact
  • Skilled at simplifying complexity and communicating with clarity
  • Ownership mindset with the ability to operate autonomously and hold teams accountable for outcomes
  • Payments or fintech expertise preferred
