Strategy & Program Manager

New York; San Francisco

This is Adyen

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.

For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Strategy and Program Manager

We are seeking a highly analytical, systems-minded, and innovative Strategy & Program Manager to architect the joint operational future of our most recent acquisitions: Talon. One and Orb. In this role, you will sit within the Strategy and Program Management team, acting as the structural bridge between Adyen’s core operational engine - Support, Professional Services, and Merchant Operations - and our newly acquired entities.

Our goal is to combine our product offerings and maximize the value we can bring to our customers. Your mission is to design, implement, and drive adoption of the joint customer journeys, systems, and processes that allow these standalone engines to scale seamlessly within Adyen’s global framework. The ideal candidate is a strategic Operator who cuts through ambiguity, designs with a customer centric mindset, and possesses a relentless drive to remove complexity and build for scale.

What you’ll do:

  • Design the joint customer journey: Architect and implement the operating models and standardized processes that define how joint customers are onboarded and serviced.
  • Global Program development & adoption: Shape and lead operational integration programs, ensuring they can be scaled and adopted across all global regions.
  • Solve high-complexity, multi-entity bottlenecks: Drive operational readiness across domains. You will map out complex overlaps and find innovative solutions.
  • Data-led steering: Own the operational KPI framework for integrations - defining, tracking, and translating metrics into a reliable picture of health.
  • Cross-functional partnerships: Partner closely with Tech, Commercial, Finance and Compliance to design and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in a combination of a client-facing, technical operations, or strategy/business operations role (e.g., BizOps, Integration/M&A Operations, Program Management, Management Consulting).
  • Strong background in program or project management, with a proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution and global adoption.
  • Strategic operator, equally comfortable zooming out to connect the dots as well as diving in the detail when necessary. You can conceptualize how a decision in the technical architecture can ripple down to a support ticket bottleneck.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to translate complex data points into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, navigating high-stakes alignment discussions with senior leaders across multiple distinct organizations and aligning them under a shared operational vision.
  • A trusted partner across the organization, capable of building strong relationships and credibility across functions, levels, and partners.
  • A creative and innovative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where playbooks don’t exist.

Total rewards & compensation

The annual base salary range for this role is $145,000 - $180,000. Compensation is based on factors including qualifications, experience, and location. Total compensation package includes equity (RSUs), 401(k), health, dental, vision, and more.
