IT Operations Manager
The IT Operations Manager leads the day-to-day operations of the company’s IT environment, ensuring reliable and efficient support for employees, devices, and core infrastructure services. This role emphasizes service delivery, process efficiency, and keeping the business running smoothly. The manager is responsible for guiding the IT Operations team, managing workload distribution, and driving continuous improvement in end-user experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and mentor the IT Operations team (Helpdesk, IT Admins, Office IT support).
- Oversee daily IT support operations, ensuring SLAs are met for ticket response and resolution.
- Manage workstation lifecycle: imaging, deployments, upgrades, vulnerability patching, and baseline configuration.
- Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and department transfers with HR and department heads.
- Maintain asset management, license tracking, and vendor relationships for IT hardware/software.
- Ensure operational monitoring of workstation security, Microsoft Defender, Intune, and Intel vPro.
- Manage patching and update cycles for workstations and endpoint devices.
- Partner with Enterprise Systems to escalate complex server/network/security issues.
- Develop and enforce IT operational procedures, standards, and knowledge base documentation.
- Oversee daily backup operations by monitoring scheduled jobs, troubleshooting failures, performing restores, and escalating systemic issues to Enterprise Systems to ensure business data is consistently protected.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve IT support efficiency (scripting for patching, ticket triage, and user workflows).
- Track metrics and reporting for ticket volumes, resolution times, and system availability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years in IT operations or systems administration, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in Windows OS, workstation management, and MDM solutions (Intune, SCCM, MDT).
- Experience with patch management, endpoint security, and imaging tools (WDS, MDT).
- Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
- Experience with ITIL or similar frameworks a plus.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum 7 years’ experience in a related field.
Salary Range: $109,000 - $158,000 USD per year
The above range is specific to CALIFORNIA and may not be applicable to other locations. The pay scale for this role is between $109,000 - $158,000 per year. Final compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
