RVP,  Enterprise Sales, Americas 
Aerospike is looking for a Regional Vice President for the Americas, to join our Sales leadership team. Reporting to the CRO, you will be responsible for sales execution across the Americas business with key focus on leading, recruiting, enabling and ultimately growing a team of high-caliber enterprise account executives and managers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and develop a world-class team of high-caliber enterprise account executives and managers, fostering a team with high cognitive ability, empathy, character, work ethic, grit, and superior coachability
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Aerospike’s products to provide guidance and mentoring on selling, navigate complex negotiations, eliminate technical barriers, and manage commercial escalations
  • Ensure effective and consistent pipeline generation and accurate forecasting, establishing clear leading indicators to drive a predictable and scalable regional business.
  • Implement, enable, and consistently execute our value-based selling approach across a team of high-caliber Enterprise account executives
  • Collaborate and partner closely with cross-functional teams, building strong internal partnerships with engineering, customer success, alliances, pre-sales, and account development
  • Improve ongoing efforts to solidify and mature Aerospike’s repeatable sales processes and operations, positioning the company for efficient future growth

Must Haves:

  • 12 + years of enterprise selling experience and 5+ years of leadership experience at a fast-paced, high-growth database software company specializing in selling to developer/engineering buying personas
  • Experience selling Aerospike, Yugabyte, Cockroach, MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Couchbase, MarkLogic, ScyllaDB, etc)
  • Significant experience and proven results selling into and navigating the complexities of an enterprise environment across multiple industries
  • Experience negotiating large 6- to 7-figure deals with extremely complex terms and conditions
  • Experience building geographically diverse Enterprise sales teams and a proven record of recruiting, hiring, and training top sales talent
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota in both an Individual Contributor (IC) and leadership capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • Experience evangelizing the benefits of Force Management, MEDDPICC, and comparable sales qualification frameworks
  • Passionate about building, teaching, investing in, and evolving high-caliber sales teams
