
Contract Administrator 1
The Contract Administrator 1 will be responsible for administering a wide variety and value of contracts within a predominantly DoD environment, with some work in commercial and international contracts as required. Functions:
- Contributes to large volume of proposal efforts, collaborating with Business Development and Proposal teams to ensure compliant submittals on a variety of Government/DoD and commercial proposals
- Completes and/or coordinates completion of supporting documentation for proposals including: Reps & Certs , IP/Data Rights Assertions , Commercial Item Assertions , Proposal Adequacy Checklists
- Coordinates with internal stakeholders including Program Managers, Directors, Business Development, Accounting, and Security to ensure proposals and contracts comply with all public law requirements including import/export regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- Negotiates contract/subcontract terms and conditions
- Responsible for ongoing contract administration including collaboration with Program Managers, Project Control, Finance, and other internal stakeholders, processing modifications on incrementally funded contracts
- Maintain contract documents, files and records in accordance with established policies, procedures and audit guidelines to ensure compliance through the procurement cycle
- Negotiates nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, proprietary information agreements, and other standard and non-standard agreements as assigned
- Assist with additional projects and other related duties as required

Qualifications and Competencies:
- Security Clearance -Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret or Top Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
- Experience in a Government contracting company primarily supporting military/DoD contracts
- Strong working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
- Be highly efficient, organized, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and think proactively, occasionally work outside of normal business hours and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in order to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize workload in accordance with team requirements
- Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint or similar file repository
- Adobe Acrobat DC familiarity using fillable PDF forms and e-Sign; form creation experience a plus
Education / Certifications:
- Associates Degree Required
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Professional Certification in Contracts Management a plus
- (Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM))
Experience:
- 3+ years' minimum contract administration experience
- Must have experience supporting DoD/military programs and working knowledge of FAR/DFARS
