About the job
Are you a Senior Investment Communications Specialist with excellent writing skills, ready to join our Marketing & Communications team? You will be responsible for all content creation for clients and external relations. You create with the audience in mind, translating complex ideas into relevant, client-oriented content, whether written text, video, or podcast.
You will be the designated point of contact for Requests for Proposal responses to prospects and for the text components of annual and quarterly client reports. You will provide countervailing insight when interpreting and editing texts from portfolio managers. Additionally, you will write and edit annual reports, economic thought pieces, and content focused on current developments.
In this role, you will work closely with the other members of the Marketing & Communications team: the Communications Officer and the Head of Marketing & Communications. The team is small, which means you will be involved in a variety of tasks.
Key responsibilities
You are responsible for all content creation for clients and external relations (in English, Dutch and German):
- Create a content plan as part of the overall marketing strategy
- Lead projects for responding to Requests for Proposal from prospects
- Write and edit economic thought pieces, annual Responsible Investing and impact reports, and text components of annual and quarterly reports
- Create content for marketing purposes for all channels: monthly newsletters, website, social media
Experience and skills
We are looking for someone that brings creativity and proactivity. Someone who is eager to work for a family organisation, with a deep sense of integrity and professionalism in a fast-paced environment, and with extensive experience in the asset management industry. Next to this you possess:
- A Master’s degree in Economics, or proven work experience at the same level
- At least 5 years of working experience as an investment writer or communications specialist in asset management
- Excellent writing, editing, and conceptual thinking skills
- A strong interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency, insight, and content quality
- Fluency in English, with excellent writing and editing skills
- Dutch and German language skills are considered an advantage
Additional information
- You will report to the Head of Marketing and Communications.
- The role is a full-time position; 4 days per week is negotiable.
- An (online) assessment and a writing exercise will be part of the recruitment process.
