Purpose of the role 

At Anthos, AML/KYC is not a back-office checklist. It is a core part of how we protect our licence to operate, serve our clients responsibly, and remain a trusted partner to clients, employees, regulators, COFRA and other relevant stakeholders. Know Your Customer, Customer Due Diligence and Anti-Money Laundering (“AML/KYC”) are important topics in society, with significant exposure, regulatory attention and direct management accountability. 

For Anthos and its clients, it is essential that we meet our obligations and prevent integrity risks where practicable, including money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions breaches and other harmful or illegal activity. These obligations are reflected in laws and regulations such as the Dutch Wwft, Wft and Sanctiewet, as well as relevant EU AML and sanctions developments. 

We are looking for someone who wants to join a small multidisciplinary AML/KYC team and help strengthen the full KYC domain at the heart of Anthos. You will work across different areas, including operations, data, change, policy, legal and business advisory. The AML/KYC team is part of our first line of defence. You will report to the Head of AML/KYC, and the team ultimately reports into the Chief Risk & Innovation Officer. 

In this role, you will help strengthen Anthos’ AML/KYC foundation by: 

• Supporting the ongoing development and improvement of Anthos' AML/KYC framework, processes and ways of working. 
• Helping translate AML/KYC requirements into practical guidance and solutions for the business. 
• Supporting and improving AML/KYC data, tooling, reporting and automation initiatives. 
• Providing day-to-day support on AML/KYC matters across onboarding, reviews and ongoing monitoring activities. 
• Helping ensure AML/KYC requirements are applied consistently, documented appropriately and remain audit-ready. 
• Contributing to AML/KYC awareness and knowledge sharing across the organisation. 
• Performing AML/KYC reviews and helping ensure files are complete, well-evidenced and decision-ready.
  
  

What you bring

We're looking for someone who has gained their first professional experience in financial services, whether in asset management, investment funds, private markets, client due diligence or a related environment. 

You don't need to know everything about AML/KYC from day one, but you should be excited about building a career in a role that combines regulation, analysis, problem-solving and collaboration. What matters most is that you're curious, eager to learn and interested in understanding how Anthos operates. You're motivated to build your expertise in AML/KYC while helping protect the integrity of our business and our clients. 

Additionally, you'll bring: 

• Up to 5 years of experience with KYC, customer due diligence, AML, sanctions or other risk-related activities. 
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to approach problems in a structured way. 
• A proactive mindset and the willingness to take ownership of tasks and follow them through. 
• An interest in working with colleagues across different disciplines, including operations, investments, compliance and legal. 
• Curiosity about how processes, data and technology can help strengthen the AML/KYC domain.
