The Essence of this Role
We’re in the midst of building something revolutionary, and we need a Business Development Lead who is ready to be part of that journey. You’ll be joining a fast-paced, dynamic team and will play a critical role in driving the adoption of Affinidi’s products. This is a unique opportunity to shape our go-to-market strategy, build customer relationships, drive adoption of our product and grow our revenue. If you’re excited about solving complex challenges, pioneering new use cases, and creating value in emerging technologies, this role is for you.
As part of the Business Development team, you will be critical in shaping how our products are brought to market. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies, close deals, and make Affinidi’s vision a reality.
You will:
- Develop a go-to-market (GTM) plan and account plans for your respective industry, territories and accounts.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring that we deliver value to customers while driving business growth.
- Be the voice of the customer, working closely with Solution Architecture, Legal, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
- Help Affinidi grow by being part of the core business development team, finding and defining the most impactful use cases for our products.

You should apply if you:
- Have 8-10 years of experience in business development in Asia.
- Have experience in managing small and medium enterprises and start-up accounts.
- Have to be comfortable selling technical solutions to business and technical stakeholders.
- You’re a self-starter who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys working with emerging technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully driving product adoption and revenue growth in the tech sector.
- Are passionate about working in a start-up environment and love to problem solve and come up with creative ideas to solve customer challenges.
- Possess a growth mindset with a strong bias for action and are able to proactively execute tasks and have a structured working style.
- Have strong customer empathy, particularly a good understanding of negotiation, partnerships and strive for “win-win” projects.
- Have either a technical degree, prior experience selling technical solutions or prior technical roles (e.g. pre-sales, solution architect).

- Have exposure in a high-growth technology company
- Have experience in digital identity and privacy enhancing technologies
