About the role:  
We are on a search for a Finance & Accounting, Senior to join our fast-growing tech company. In this role, you will play a key role in shaping our financial strategy and operations. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will partner with stakeholders across the business to drive financial reporting, planning, and compliance excellence across our global entities.

What’s in it for you:   

• Support accounting and finance functions including reporting, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for entities within the Group   
• Liaise with external accounting vendors to ensure smooth financial operations and timely month-end closings. 
• Assist in preparation of internal and external financial reporting on a timely basis   
• Review historical performance, conduct variance analysis, identify key trends, and provide actionable insights for improvement. 
• Contribute to cash flow forecasting and budgeting to support effective working capital management. 
• Oversee expense claims and employee reimbursements 
• Ensure tax filings and compliance with statutory regulations (local and international) 
• Manage intercompany transactions and assist with banking and treasury functions across entities. 
• Help establish internal controls in line with corporate governance requirements. 
• Support customer billing and contribute to accounts payable or procurement activities as needed. 
• Support audit processes for all entities in collaboration with external consultants. 
• Assist in preparing for board meetings while managing additional duties as needed. 
    

You will be a great match if you:   

• Degree in Accountancy and / or Chartered Accountant  
• Minimum 4 years of experience in finance or audit, ideally within tech startups 
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and SFRS; familiarity with Indian and German accounting standards a plus 
• Working knowledge of India’s financial and accounting standard highly preferred   
• Proven experience managing full sets of accounts and financial consolidations 
• Experience in drafting financial statements and projection modelling    
• Have a high degree of ownership, critical thinking, creative and innovative thinker, and deep technical knowledge   
• Meticulous, analytical, and solutions-oriented with strong technical acumen  
• Proven track record in process improvements and automation  
• Experience working with decentralised, cross-functional teams will be a plus   
• Proficiency in Netsuite is an added advantage
