Position Summary:

As an Implementation Manager, you will ensure the successful execution and deployment of complex client implementation-related projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership capabilities to ensure the effective delivery of complex programs. Additionally, this individual will be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to achieve successful client implementations.

What you will do:

 Implementation Management:

  • Support implementation initiatives for new and renewed AffirmedRx clients, contributing to company growth and client satisfaction
  • Coordinate the planning and execution of client onboarding projects, aligning with established strategies and timelines
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process optimization within implementation activities
  • Contribute to the development of reports and materials for leadership to inform decision-making
  • Uphold AffirmedRx’s commitment to integrity, clarity, and trust throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Offer recommendations backed by data and insights to enhance implementation effectiveness
  • Participate in reviewing and refining implementation processes to improve quality and client experience
  • Help identify challenges during implementations and support the development of solutions

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to implementation team members, encouraging skill development and process improvement
  • Partner with team leads and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality implementation outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across client goals, Pharmacy benefit setups, and operational strategies
  • Share company values and implementation standards effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to onboarding and mentoring efforts to build team capabilities and cohesion

Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor key implementation metrics to ensure targets are met and performance guarantees are supported
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client engagement and maximize utilization through best practices

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Assist in gathering information and supporting deliverables for RFI/RFPs and finalist presentations
  • Participate in internal initiatives aimed at improving implementation operations
  • Support collaborative efforts between departments to resolve issues and maintain strong communication with clients

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in implementation management within healthcare or PBM
  • Strong critical thinking skills with a proven ability to streamline processes and improve internal workflows and member experiences
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple client portfolios, tracking timelines, and ensuring quality and client satisfaction
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on service quality and stakeholder alignment
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work across departments and with various levels of leadership
  • Client-facing experience, including issue resolution, escalation management, and delivering thoughtful, solutions-oriented support
  • Comfortable working remotely and experienced in coordinating virtual team efforts
  • Growth-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and process improvement
