THE ROLE

AG1 is seeking an experienced and strategic Director, Brand Media to lead and oversee the development and execution of brand media strategies that elevate and drive the presence of our brand across multiple channels. As a key member of the marketing leadership team, this role will be responsible for managing brand media campaigns, optimizing media buys, and ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives. This role involves managing both traditional and digital media campaigns, fostering relationships with media partners, and leading a team of media professionals.  You will work closely with internal teams and external agencies to drive innovative and impactful brand media solutions that enhance engagement and reach.  

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Brand Media leader to make an important impact at AG1 by strengthening our brand awareness, enhancing customer engagement, and driving business growth.  The successful candidate in this role will ensure that all media efforts align with the overall brand vision, marketing objectives, and business goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design and implement comprehensive media strategies across multiple platforms (TV, radio, print, digital, social, etc.) to promote the brand and drive marketing goals. 
  • Collaborate closely with internal marketing, creative, and brand teams to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign delivery.
  • Manage media planning, buying, and optimization to ensure efficient use of budgets and maximize return on investment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media agencies, ad tech partners, and other vendors to ensure high-quality service and creative media solutions.
  • Monitor media performance, leveraging analytics and insights to drive optimization and improvements in media strategy.
  • Develop strategic media plans that align with key product launches, campaigns, and overall brand marketing goals.  Ensure all media campaigns are aligned with the brand’s voice, image, and positioning.
  • Stay up to date with media trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities for brand growth and visibility and to ensure that the brand remains at the forefront of innovative media strategies. 
  • Lead a team of media strategists, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of all media campaigns, overseeing project timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee media budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI while staying within financial constraints.

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 10+ years of experience in media strategy, media planning, or brand media management, with proven success in driving brand media campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of media planning and buying across various channels, including digital, social, TV, and print.
  • Leadership experience managing media teams and working cross-functionally within marketing organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret media performance data and drive optimizations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation abilities with a proven track record of managing large-scale media budgets and optimizing spend for maximum efficiency.
  • Strong experience in developing media strategies that support brand growth and engagement.
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working closely with creative, insights, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive and impactful brand messaging 
  • Deep understanding of current digital marketing trends and the evolving customer landscape, with the ability to adapt strategies for emerging opportunities 
  • Agility in fast-paced environments, with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and drive brand innovation across multiple platforms

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $141,500.00 - $175,500.00 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
