THE ROLE

The Sr. Analyst, Growth Finance at AG1 is responsible for delivering mission-critical financial analysis and insights to leadership and key stakeholders. 

This role will operate in a FP&A function for company planning cycles as it pertains to Revenue, and as a trusted Finance Business Partner for strategic initiatives focused on driving business growth and customer lifetime value.

Reporting to the Director, Growth Finance, the ideal candidate for the Sr. Analyst, Growth Finance role is someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a high-growth remote environment.

This role will help manage the company revenue model and planning process to provide financial insights into a range of company activities including customer acquisition, retention, new product development, and channel expansion. This role will also look critically at business performance, budgeting, investments, and other key analyses of critical importance to the leadership team. The ideal candidate will be based in the US, have a passion for health and wellness, and will be intrinsically motivated as this role is 100% remote.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Closely collaborate with the Director of Growth Finance, the finance leadership team, and operators to drive business performance and efficiency
  • Take ownership of the core Revenue financial models, making timely updates for re-forecasts and proactively identifying opportunities to improve forecasting processes and accuracy 
  • Serve as a Finance Business Partner to the Retention and Acquisition teams for key strategic initiatives to strengthen customer loyalty and adoption, measuring attributable lifts to customer retention and lifetime value
  • Ensure timely budgeting and accurate tracking for company initiatives, in partnership with operators and Data & Analytics
  • Track key business-level metrics and prepare materials for weekly business review (WBR) updates to an executive-level audience
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses independently to develop key insights and recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of end-of-month accruals with Accounting

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3-5+ years of experience in strategic finance, corporate development, investment banking, and/or management consulting with a proven track record of delivering key insights and business impact through financial analysis. Experience in retail and consumer packaged goods is strongly preferred.
  • Experience building complex financial models from the ground up.
  • Experience as a cross-functional partner to business stakeholders.
  • Understanding of financial accounting, particularly P&L statements.
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to problem solve in dynamically changing situations.
  • Knowledgeable in all things Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a consistent “can-do” attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple work streams at once, without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for or desire to learn more about key topic areas relevant to AG1: health and wellness, sports, e-commerce, etc.
  • A full life outside of work with personal passions and hobbies!
  • Nice to have: 
    • SQL proficiency strongly preferred
    • Tableau experience preferred
    • Subscription and/or DTC experience preferred
    • Previous experience with Netsuite is a plus

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $85,000 - $104,000 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate’s level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
