AGE Solutions is looking for a Cybersecurity Architecture SME to join our team in support of an upcoming cybersecurity risk management and assessment program with our DoD customer. In this role, you’ll provide expert technical knowledge in cybersecurity architectures, information processing transport architectures, and cybersecurity policy.
Individuals in this role must be available to work on-site at Ft. Meade, MD for the majority of the workweek.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure coordination with cybersecurity and architecture organizations to support RE4 mission areas.
- Assist the Government in collaborating with external agencies (e.g., NSA, USCYBERCOM, JFHQ-DODIN, FBI) to meet RE4 mission requirements, supporting up to 52 meetings per year and providing technical assessment reports on discussions and risk impacts.
- Provide expertise to DISA projects and organizations to meet mission objectives (e.g., Bug Bounty, DoDCAR, IP transport).
- Offer cybersecurity architecture support for RE4 mission areas.
- Attend bi-weekly briefings to assess systems, applications, and services, and align efforts with strategic planning.
- Develop and document requirements for process automation, ensuring compliance with DSAWG, CDTAB, ISRMC, CAO, CISO, CDS, and PPSM policies.
- Identify and resolve gaps, conflicts, and inefficiencies in automation requirements, suggesting process improvements.
- Maintain and update requirements documentation, tracking progress in Government-specified tools.
- Manage and update NIPRNet/SIPRNet SharePoint sites, ensuring accurate mission statements, org charts, business info, and site content.
- Support cyber risk adjudication for evolving threats and DoD information-sharing needs.
- Enforce risk management policies for applications, protocols, services, and associated ports.
- Work with USCYBERCOM and DoD stakeholders to validate cybersecurity compliance for DISN connection approvals, cross-domain risk analyses, and enclave scanning.
- Manage the PPSM registry and DoDIN connection repositories for registration, tracking, and compliance monitoring.
- Provide training and education to enhance customer awareness of DISN policies and procedures, reducing risk and ensuring compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (IT-related field preferred)
- Ten (10) years of overall experience in cybersecurity or network security position
- Have an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- DoD 8570 IAM/IA Technical (IAT) Level III certification
- Knowledge and experience with functional area expertise in National and DoD IT policy
- Demonstrable experience designing architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
- Ability to identify, assess, and present options for meeting the functional and technical requirements including hardware and software updates or upgrades.
- Demonstrable experience developing high level system design diagrams. Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures.
- Ability to evaluate analytically and systematically problems of work flows, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective action.
Compensation: $160,000 - $172,000
