Senior Creative Lead

New York City, New York

About the Role: At WITHIN, we champion growth, innovation, and forward-thinking creativity. We’re looking for a social-first creative who loves both the thinking and the making. Someone who can turn insights into ideas, ideas into content, and content into results. You’ll concept, copywrite, and oversee creation of paid digital assets for some of the most exciting brands online — and you’ll do it alongside a nimble team that values curiosity, experimentation, and great storytelling.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ideate with purpose. Translate marketing objectives into strategically sound creative concepts — from audience insight to final execution — ensuring every idea is rooted in purpose and aligned to client goals.
  • Develop strong messaging and visual hooks. Turn prompts into compelling, social-first static and video ideas that break through the noise and inspire engagement.
  • Craft clear, effective copy. Know your way around a CTA — and confidently adapt marketing objectives into sharp messaging hooks, headlines, and campaign language that drive action.
  • Own the entire creative process. This is really where the multidisciplinary approach comes into play. You’ll partner with our in-house team of makers and other creatives to ideate, refine, and execute social-first campaigns across paid and organic channels. From concept to delivery, you’re an autonomous thinker who owns the work stream from video edits to photo retouching to rigorous QA- every detail matters.
  • Elevate creative standards. Bring a sharp point of view, thoughtful feedback, and a willingness to push ideas further — inspiring both clients and the internal team.
  • Stay curious and adaptive. Track emerging trends, audience behaviors, and platform shifts to keep our work fresh, relevant, and effective.

Requirements

  • Proven Track Record. 5–6 years of experience concepting, creating, and producing paid and organic social content. Your portfolio should showcase both strategic thinking and creative execution.
  • Technical Proficiency. Deep working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects) and other relevant creative tools.
  • Clear and Confident Communicator. Comfortable presenting creative work, articulating rationale, managing client expectations, and guiding timelines with clarity and ease.
  • Strong Design Sensibility. A sharp eye for layout, composition, and movement — with the ability to translate that into high-impact static and motion creative across digital campaigns.
  • Intuitive Strategic Insight. A holistic grasp of the social landscape — you don’t just follow trends; you understand the cultural and behavioral shifts that drive them.
  • Versatile Collaborator. Equally comfortable leading group ideation or running a solo sprint — you know when to lean in, when to delegate, and when to run with it.
  • Adaptable and Driven. You see fast-moving environments as opportunities to experiment, problem-solve, and grow.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Generative AI Fluency. Familiarity with tools like Midjourney, Runway, Seeddance, Stable Diffusion, or ChatGPT for ideation and image/video generation.
  • Production Experience. Hands-on experience planning or running in-studio shoots — from lighting setups and prop styling to set design and creative direction

Our interview process includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Excel knowledge and Typing Test

We offer a competitive salary and benefits based on education, experience, and skills level, including:

  • Unlimited vacation policy
  • Monthly Phone Stipend
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance options
  • 401(K) plan with matching

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.

How do you know if you have a disability?
